Questions about brownies
Are your brownies nut-free?
No. Snickers contains peanuts and may contain tree nuts. The other five may contain peanuts and tree nuts. Our macaron shells are almond flour, baked in the same kitchen. Ours is not a nut-free kitchen. If you are ordering for someone with a nut allergy, say so in your enquiry and we will tell you plainly what we can stand behind.
Are your brownies gluten-free?
No. They are made with wheat flour. If you need something gluten-free, most of our macarons are gluten-free by recipe, though they are baked in the same kitchen.
Are your brownies vegan?
Not at the moment. Our two vegan bakes are cookies: Biscoff vegan and Peanut butter vegan. Both may contain milk and eggs.
How long do brownies keep?
Ten days.
How far in advance should I order?
Three days for local pickup in Edinburgh. One week for delivery anywhere in the UK. Three weeks for large orders: more than 60 macarons, or 20 or more cookies or brownies.
Do you offer bulk prices?
Yes. Large orders are priced by quote, so ask for a bulk price in your enquiry and we will come back with one.
Ordering for an event?
Any of the collection can be boxed as favours or gifts. Tell us the date and the headcount; we will suggest the rest.
